Situation
EcoEnergies designs, constructs, delivers, and maintains renewable energy power systems and related energy efficiency products using wind, solar, small hydro and other "green power" and energy efficiency technologies. EcoEnergies wanted a Web store that was fully integrated with their accounting back-end, a CRM application that could keep up with their growth, and convenient real-time financial reporting capabilities. Their project accounting is also "faster and higher quality" and their parent company's CFO has direct access to reporting via the "hands-off CEO" role they created. Because the Suite is Web-based, remote salespeople can enter sales orders, submit time and expense reports, and access contact records wherever they are at the time--even at customer sites. Peter can also stay up-to-date on all key indicators, such as revenue, account balances, and inventory levels. No one has to worry about being tied to the office in order to access vital data.
Results
Because their accounting tasks are so much more streamlined with the fully integrated Suite, EcoEnergies saves "over $50,000 in reduced staff and accounting time requirements" a year. They're also expecting the Web store to generate an additional $100,000 in revenue a year.
